Since joining the advertising industry in 2018, Matthew’s career has gone from an initial understanding of print, digital display and programmatic advertising to specialising in paid social strategy across a number of industry verticals, including automative, consumer goods and retail.
As of July 2024, he now leads Influencer media strategy in Europe for one of EssenceMediacom and WPP’s largest clients, The Coca-Cola Company.
Matthew is also UK Co-Chair for Unite – WPP’s LGBTQIA+ Community, and a committee member for employee community groups at EssenceMediacom and WPP for cultural diversity.
A changemaker vocal for ESEA and LGBTQIA+ representation, his social and influencer specialisms and commitment to Inclusive Media led to him being recognised in INvolve People’s Empower Top 100 Future Leaders list, enrolled into The Media Leader’s Future 100 Club, and being Highly Commended in the “Unsung Hero” category at the MEFA Diversity & Inclusion Awards 2024.
